Lib Dems welcome cleanup of Grange Road

After one of his constituents got in touch with him, Dunfermline South Liberal Democrat Councillor James Calder has arranged for the Council to clean up areas of the Grange Road just outside Dunfermline with severe litter issues on 17 March.

Councillor Calder has said, "Littering is a blight to our community, and it is also bad for our local environment. After I spoke to the street cleaning team in the Council they are going to clean this up on 17 March but it should not come to this. They are having to arrange for road safety measures to do this work too. I do want to say a big thank you to the team nonetheless."

Liberal Democrat candidate for Dunfermline Aude Boubaker-Calder added, "I am passionate about protecting our environment and it is really sad to see littering still taking place. I am pleased that James Calder has arranged for this cleanup and if there are other areas where litter is affecting our local environment, I would ask residents to get in touch with me or Cllr Calder."
